Devi’s professional writing credits include published short fiction, feature films, a web series, a video game, scripts for MTV programming, teleplays, academic nonfiction, a weekly newspaper column and the occasional essay, with visions of staged musicals also tempting her muse. Her screenplays have won honors in numerous competitions including The Nicholl Fellowships Slamdance, Austin Film Festival, Scriptapalooza, The Page Awards and many more. Her screenplay for the award-winning feature film, TRIPPIN’, won the Best Screenplay Award at the Bram Stoker Film Festival. She primarily writes comedies, though often with a macabre or horror twist. She’s currently penning her first novel.
